Our Story

Driftwood Terrigal was founded by a team of like-minded foodies; a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and create amazing food together. Our hobby quickly led us to opening this Cafe, a place where people from all over Terrigal can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere.

We use local free range eggs from The Eggshed and our oranges are organic from Mangrove mountain which incidentally provide our bush lemons and limes.

We are powered by Momentum which is green energy, use organic cleaning products from Trinature and all our packaging is plant based products supplied by Biopak making us very eco friendly.

Driftwoods philosophy is to produce homemade products unique to our cafe. Cakes are made fresh each and every day. We make our own relishes, mayonnaise, roast vegetable patties and Italian chargrilled capsicums and eggplant (pepperoni and melenzane) made in the authentic Sicilian tradition. We bake Banana breads and Ginger loaves plus our very own gluten free varieties and gluten free bread.

Drinks encompass a fusion of cultures from Thai inspired icey shakes to Italian iced coffees. Fresh juices and summer cocktails (yes we are licenced)

Our regular blend of coffee from Adore is Florito, which is strong, round & full bodied.

We also have Cold drip coffee . the coolest way to brew and served over ice. We use Adore's Organic Single origin blend which has a soft acidity with a rich thick unforgettable aftertaste. Very gentle, subtle flavour.

Our menu reflects an uncomplicated beach lifestyle with modern Australian cuisine incorporating only top quality and preferably local produce, made fresh to order.
